I tried to sing her this song to communicate

’Cause she didn’t seem to want to say a word… a word to me

I ran out of funny things to say the last time we met

So I just stood there in silence… and then suddenly

She was gone away

I didn’t even get to say how much I’d like to see her again

I wish that she had stayed

Instead she went away with the second best… second best friend of mine

I saw her earlier today, she was crossing the street

I tried to wave to her but she didn’t notice me

I ran after her but when I was half way across

There was this bus that blocked my view… and then suddenly

She was gone away

I didn’t even get to say how much I’d like to see her again

I wish that she had stayed
